I am so excited to finally share my office with everyone!

We all know you can’t appreciate the transformation if I don’t share the “before” picture, but before I share this humiliating photo, I get to offer a few excuses.  This room is technically our dinning room, and it used to function as one, until we got a massive, poorly behaved, puppy!  Long story short, the puppy, Shep, grew quickly and acquired no manners.  Adjusting to this massive monster, meant changing how we used the rooms in our house . . . and massive destruction.  It was obviously time to say goodbye to the stained and shredded carpet and turn this room into something functional!

While this room sat mostly unused, I have been running my business from the kitchen table.  A risky move with children playing limbo/high jump with the cords of my laptop and external hard drive.  Time for an upgrade!

I present to you, the new and improved Johanna Brun Photography headquarters!

I mean, I even have faux flowers!  I love flowers, you likely already know that.  What you probably don’t know, is that I don’t have decor items in my house!  I find purchasing and placing knick knacks overwhelming.  Thank goodness for my sister in law!

Now, I have put together a lot of furniture in my time, but these cabinets may permanently be at the top of my list for being a pain in the butt!  The good news is that they were totally worth it.  A little PVC pipe and a bit of cursing later, these armoires are now home to thirty pieces (a small sample) from my client wardrobe!

Guys, I even have a bowl, whose sole purpose is to hold potpourri!  My kids were so confused by all the things that we don’t have anywhere else in our house.  😂 Gosh, I feel fancy!

I have had my eye on this desk since we moved into this house 7 years ago.  When we turned the actual office in to the playroom, I thought for sure I would never see this day.  But here she is, and I love her!  Also these chairs! 😍

Well, that concludes the tour for now.   I’ll just be sitting here pretending the rest of the house is this clean and organized!
